I have ordered this book off Amazon. It looks amazing, the only problem is managing to prise it away frm my mum, shes fallen in love with it! i love the way it weaves together his story and the recipes, part bio and part recipe book, i like reading alot of these memoirs incl Amy Tan and Jung Chang

Fantastic recommendation. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so love with Banhmi11 in such a way that I can't explain . I can see that girls behind the stall really care for customers. I like their triple-meat banhmi . It tastes incredibly amazing. I really enjoy reading their blogs as well.

Hi,

I have bought this book following your write up, it is great and recipes look fantastic. I am having some friends coming over this weekend, and will cook from it for the first time!

Thanks for the recommendation!

We got this book for our trip to Vietnam as well after reading your review. We are Vietnamese so we grew up cooking without recipes and we still can't get used to reading them. But I love that this book was more than just recipes. The pictures are so great and so is the writing. Really love the artistic layout. Thanks for reviewing it.
