On Monday 23rd January, executive chef Wesley Smalley will be hosting Game Night at Charlotte’s Bistro in Chiswick. The restaurant is well known for its accomplished modern British cooking and cosy neighbourhood vibe. The event will start promptly with drinks on arrival at 7pm, followed by an impressive seven course menu celebrating seasonality and top quality local produce.
The menu includes inventive game-focused dishes like venison tartare with anchovy sabayon and bitter chocolate; pheasant sausage with red cabbage and liquorice puree; and confit wild rabbit tortelloni with espelette pepper ‘Café au Lait’. After a palate cleansing mandarin sorbet, diners will round off the meal with a decadent Valrhona chocolate dessert with vanilla milk, dulce de leche, and bitter endive. The full menu can be viewed online.
Charlotte's Bistro owner Alex Wrethman will be looking after diners throughout the evening, alongside Matthew Mawtus, Charlotte's Operations Director and resident wine expert. Chef Wesley will join diners after the meal for a chat about food, cooking and anything else that springs to mind.
Tickets are priced at £58 per person and can be booked online here. A wine pairing option will be available on the evening at an additional £38 per person.
